Seen it before, that is obviously a Ssangyong Kyron.
Lots and lots of photos, e.g.

Remind me - is the car on sale yet?

yes, most certainly Roewe-badged.

The photographers got a good look all over it.

So are SAIC going about this the Roewe?

Take a look at pic 4. Every car in the car park is a Roewe, but I don't recognise the one directly behind and to the right of the 4x4. It looks like a heavily facelifted Rover 25, but I could be wrong.
Here's the pic.....

Looks like the back of a Daewoo Kalos/Chevy Aveo to me mate, but with different rear light clusters.

Is that still a Merc engine?

Oh yes and god damn isnt that interior cheap and tacky????

You could be right. But whats a Chevrolet doing outside the Roewe HQ?

the GM JV with SAIC is China's No.1 seller. Maybe it's an SAIC-made one...

That's not the Roewe HQ.... merely a rather small suburban Roewe dealer! That's his forecourt.

Which would explain the delivery of vehicles on a car transporter.

Still might be an SAIC-made car, though!
Looking over this old thread, my attention was drawn to the gullwing-doored 550 in the comments section of the website leozhu linked to.
first time Ive seeen this - the 4x4 looks quite good , dont know what the quality will be like but it dont look a bad car
