my reverse lights dont work. changed bulbs n fuses to make sure yet still dont work. i cant afford to go garage at moment so need to try n sort it myself, any ideas ? cars a 416si 96 p plate

switch on top of gearbox

cheap n easy then ?

remove connector on gearbox bridge wires, select reverse with ignition on, do the lights come on? yes= remove the copper washer from the switch and refit

no= new switch £8ish
