Replacing Exahuast Cam

Quick question, if I want to replace my cam in the VVC engine over to piper cams, does the cam ladder have to be split, and hence, re-sealed again afterwards. Or is this a job that can be done without disturbing the ladder.

I suspect, the answer will be remove cam ladder :(

You have to remove the cam ladder, this is holding the cams in place so must come off.

No easy way around it I'm afraid.
