Replacing clutch MGF-Trolly jacks and axel stands

One of the MGF's been sitting in the drive needing a clutch since the clutch springs dicentra gated last summer. I have read with interest that it is possible without the car on a ramp and it is.

That’s exactly how I’d have to do this job, on a jack in my front yard so it gives me a lot of hope.
That's exactly the way I replaced the clutch a clutch release arm in my wife's MGF, although I did not disassemble the LH rear suspension assembly, I only moved the gearbox about 15cm from the engine.
I like the way you have removed the complete rear hub, thus not needing to remove that very tight hub nut.
