Removing badges

Hi all, I am looking to remove the badges from the grill and boot rover badges an 25 from the body and don't want to damage anything so was wondering if anyone knew a good way to go about this.

Thanks in advance

drill through the badge and then pull out from there. use a little heat (hot water to break down the glue)

EDIT LOL... assuming you dont need the badges after then this is a good way, if not use hot water and get something very small like a watch screwdriver and get behind the badge
Lol no I don't need them but will try the second way first. It sounds less distractive :-D thanks
Pour some white spirits on. Wipe up runs. Soak for a minute. Rinse with hot water. Get an old knife/screwdriver and put a thin bit of cloth around it and with or without heat from a hair dryer prize away and clean up any excess glue with spirit and rinse off again

Will the sprit damage my paint if left on for a little while or is it safe. Sorry I don't do this kind of thing much
Spirit will be fine as long as you don't leave it too long. Petrol works just as well, if not better as petrol dissolves silicone, which is what the glue used on the badges basically is.
Great thanks I will be up first thing to get them off :-D
A kettle of boiling water works wonders too :)
i used a hairdryer on the badges for quite a while and then with a knife got behind and got the badge off, be careful as the knife can take off little bits of paint from the edges of where the badge sits in. mine did and i used a paint pencil to touch up the little bits.
the aftermarket badges look soooooo much better though. good luck!
Hairdryer us the easiest way, heat it up and it'll pull off easily!

Sod spirits and boiling water!
