Oddly enough removing the hub nut and the ball joint where quite easy using a 12volt impact gun .. amazing tool worth every penny. The socket for the ball joint caused a bit of pain as on the tf it needs to be substantially deeper than the f.

Thank you Clive for this guide I am a keen diyer and this has given me the confidence to tackle . This all started swapping the adjuster for the fan belt ..a bolt snapped and i had to take of the trailing arm to access . I managed to remove the said bolt..then replacing the trailing arm the bolt snapped at the top on the hub ..i have tried every which way I can to remove over several weekends. I have now purchased a new hub and will use your guide to swap .thank you
