Hi, im not sure if this should go in the ICE section, but heres the problem.
I have changed the Battery on my TF last week, after having left the car without the old battery fitted for 2 weeks. Ive now lost the Radio security code for my Kenwood, KDC5027 HU, and i cannot find the code written in either the owners manual, or the seperate Kenwood manual thats with it.
Will the radio code be labelled on the back of the HU at all? and if not then should my dealer be able to find out what the code should be for my HU from my cars registration or VIN?
I want to replace the HU asap anyway, but i need to get the code for the OE one so that i can hopefully sell it.

I am surprised the Kenwood one has a code. It could be the panel that is faulty. But yes I dealer will have the code. Take some ID with you just in case they ask for it. Also should cost no more then £15.
