R25 Manual Trans. - Just Failed :(
Hi All,
Great forum, just fixed my head gasket last month thanks to all the info. on here.
Sadly, on the way to work today, put the car in first at a roundabout, let the clutch out ... and no transmission or drive, just a horrible rattle from the general area of the gearbox.
Clutch appears to be engaging/disengaging and all gears are selectable. It's almost like there's a complete disconnection between the drive shafts and the gearbox.
Any ideas gratefully received. Car is a Rover 25 1.6TC, year 2000, 5 door.
