I have bought some chrome washer jets for my Rover 75.
They happen to be fitted with LEDs
So, can anyone tell me the easiest way to wire them into the fog lamp circuit (preferred) or the side lamp circuit

This thread will no doubt turn into 101 people saying:

Nooooooooooooooo !!!
To say the least :D

Still, it's you car and your call.

I bought some OEM fog lights for my 75 recently, however I didn't keep the instructions that showed me how to wire them to the fuse box.

If you've got access to RAVE, the details of the fuse box wiring will be in there.

Failing that, some other kind person may even post the info you need :)

No!!! Please don't ruin a fine car with LED washer jets.
I know what you mean. I only got them because I thought the chrome finish would look better than the black plastic.

But, having the lights there, I thought I'd try it to see how they look. If wired to the foglamp circuit I could choose whn I put them on.

Anyone know where to connect them????????????????????

I presume then that you drive around with fog lights on when it's not foggy ?
tut tut.
Why not wire them to the indicators or brake lights for the novelty factor.

Indicators is actually quite a neat idea, it would serve as a back up reminder that you have your indicators on...

They point the wrong way for that.

It could warn oncomming drivers that the indicators are on !?

Hmm.

But they'd be distracted by the super bright blue led, not see the indicators and crash...

fact free zone

I take it, from the humorous(???) but, sadly, information-free responses that nobody knows anything about R75 wiring and where it is best to connect them.

Thanks guys, I'll solve it myself.

Yes, Wotsupnow, you are right - I didn't mean the rear fog lamps - I hate people who do that, too.
I meant the front "spot" or "driving" lamps

I think you'll find the front lights are fog lights too. If you get someone to switch them on/off whilst you stick your head under the bonnet you should be able to find the relay and then it's fairly easy to work out which of the four terminals goes to the fogs/spots/whatever you want to call them...
