My old mans gona be buying a new Fiesta TDCI work slag so his Mk 2 25 diesel will be going to me :) happy times!

Ford said they'd give him £1100 for it (!!) but, naturally, he wants more than that as its in good nick, runs well and is a good all rounder.

How much would a car like this go for usually? As I'm going to buy it off him :)

Heres a quick spec list:

Facelift Rover 25 54 plate
97000 miles
Partial Service History from new (hes serviced it himself for the past 3 years)
Air Conditioning
Electric windows and door mirrors
Full leather interior
ABS

I'm thinking it'll need belts and other major things done fairly soon (in the next 6 months)

Also, the car has been rear ended twice (fixed by insurance) and someone also drive into the OS rear door (guy paid a bodyshop to fix that)

Thats all I can think of atm, will put pics up if it'll help.

How much should the car be worth?

Cheers all!

The mileage isn't doing it any favours, have any of the accidents been recorded on the cars history ?
I may be wrong here but £1100 is surprisingly high for a main dealer. With the accidents, mileage and only partial service history I'd expect that car to sell for around £1500-1800 privately, most people won't touch a car which has been in any accidents whatsoever.

A good deal for you if I'm right though ;)

One of the rear enders was - blokes insurance paid for the repair.

Just found out the other rear ender was paid for by the 17 year old peugeot driver lol

I thought £1100 was OK for a car dealer too lol but the old mans after a top spec Fiesta so he needs the cash

Tis a good car and I'd love to own (and tune) it
Think about it, if you dont mention the shunts he will never know unless its a Cat D repaired. It should say on the V5.

Mileage isnt that bad, but i would just try and sell it privately and wait.

Theres not a lot of market for Rovers over £1k imo, so you might be better off just taking the cash and getting shot. Your only going to get raped on finance if you take it, and the fiesta is probably +20% of market value as its in a dealership.
