If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!

Leave the HG alone for now, but the belts would be an idea to change! Might be worth checking the water pump and tensioners while your down there too!
If it has a true Full Sevice History then it SHOULD have been done at 60K (or 5 yrs, or 4 yrs depending on age of car, as it has changed, after MY2000 I think).

If you have the cash , then by all means get them changed, as having anew cambelt/water pump etc is not going to be a disadvantage in any way but as Kris said, if it aint broke...
