Question to anybody with decent speakers?

Whats the depth of them?


Reason being is im going to upgrade my Vibe Slick 60's as my amps too powerful for them......

Theyre 54mm mounting depth

Im looking at the Vibe black air comps which are 65mm so im just asking if people have speakers with similar size depth? Just post your models and ill do the searching.. rep for everyone who helps out.

Depends on how you plan on mounting them into the door, weather your putting them into the speaker bracket or mounting them onto the actualy door card.

If there isn't enough room on the bracket there should be plenty of room if you mount them on the door cards :)

Well my currents are on the door cards with some re-enforcement and theyve been fine there (no rattle or vibrations and they sit their solid but i cant for the life of me remember how much depth i had extra.

This was just so i dont have to take the door car off to look lol

I've got fli speakers and are pritty deep and speakers like the vibe black air shouldn't be too deep as they are a good quality speaker. If the worst came to the worse put a spacer on the door card, but I can't see them being deeper then your clearance you already have.

They are... they have massive magnets my slicks are deeper than fli. Hence why I'm asking lol

In that case mate I'd get your door cards off and make some measurements. Or just unscrew the speaker?

I'd be interested in your slicks btw :)

Make an offer inc p&p and ill give you first dibs. Bearing in mind they ate the coaxial and they're only about 6 months old

A guy on eBay that supplys all my audio equipment can get me them for £50 brand new.

So £40?
