Hi everyone! I live in the US and I happened to own a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. I swapped my transmission with a manual 5-speed. It is a 1994 Getrag 282, FWD. My question is-are the Rover 600 Ti or 800 Ti equipped with the same tansmission? I cannot find a LSD unit for mine, however Torsen lists one for the 600/800 Ti.

The 600/800 range uses the PG1 and PG2 Gearboxes. The latter having uprated bearings. The getrag box is not used. The torsen LSD is an option fitted to the higher end models (those with turbocharger) and can be fitted to all PG gearboxes.

I know all 800's are known as sterlings in the US, and im guessing most would be the larger V6 Engines in 2.5L and 2.7L derivative. Perhaps these models use the above box??
