Hello Rover (75) owners,
Pease tell me how you manage this problem.
Xpart (CAT Logistics) seem to have only old stock.
Rimmer Bros. only parts clearance bargains.

You know if still exist in England (official) manufacturer for Rover parts?
OR in time our car will be one ugly Chinese lady.

Sorry for my English!
Thanks.

What are you after.

Parts problems seem to be pretty much under control with all but a few bits available off the shelf.

Dear Stu

The problems are clutch hydraulics. (untill now)
first step - MASTER CILINDER ( the car have only 22.000 miles)

I clean and I refill the master cylinder - the liquid was very dirty.
For the moment I have presure on the pedal.
BUT is clear I must change it.

I find on Xpart site - 2PART CLUTCH KIT - A2KT7277
(and I tried to order online ?)

You know what this kit contain?

Thanks.

Rimmer’s sell more then clearance bargains, their website is not the best but you can download the parts catalogue here in PDF format.

Yep ,you have to get the part numbers from the pdf catalogue ,select 'prices' ,then enter the part number.

Took me a while to work that out myself ;)

Rimmers are excellent though ,always had what I needed and delivered promptly when I had my Freelander.

I have auto but to best of my knowledge following are clutch components that are often required :-
a) Clutch Master Cylinder ( I think a faulty one releases fluid that will usually show up inside car near clutch pedal)
b) Slave Cylinder (Replacement requires removal of g.box and is normally replaced irrespective when clutch is renewed for this reason)
c) Two part clutch kit ( this is the clutch plate and pressure plate. Usually shows up as a slipping clutch and , of course, requires g.box out to fit)
d) Dual mass flywheel. (Does not normally require replacement.
Not sure of prices but think the following :-
a) £100 b) £100 c) £99 for a Borg & Beck kit.
d) £275
Try :- rsj-motor-factors Tel :- 01902 459001 who definately have c) & d) and are Borg & Beck main agents.
