My car :). Right hand drive, imported to Sweden from UK by previous owner.
Nice car and first post. :welcome:

I have been amazed by the number of folks in Northern Europe with Rover 600s.

I had one like that once :~

Hi DyamR. That's nice to see.

Lip. Do you mean lip spoiler for the trunk/boot? My son > MetroMartin < on here, has one which he is not going to fit to his 620ti last time I asked him about it. He's currently Skiing and Snowboarding in Norway and will return in the week. He may sell if price is right. Drop him a PM. You never know.

He got some Fog Lamps recently when he removed the front driveshafts from a Diesel 600 in a local car breaker yard. He may still have them. You will also need the relay and switch assemblies for the front fog lights. I have both these too. I also have a pair of fog lights from a 600 but they are not best used condition. Some corroded very badly as exposed to all the road dirt for years.

They are elegant, good looking cars those 600s. Some fine examples here. Shame about the Red 623 with the rear end damage.

Nice to see you back here again Dert and glad you still have that Kinversand 620ti.

Based on the rarity of that colour alone, apart from being a 620ti, I would definitely get that car back into reasonable shape.

If I were you, it would be the MK111 Ford out in the open and the 620ti inside.

I had one of those Fords as a company car back in the late 1970s. Preferred my company car Marina ... but then, I'm a bit funny like that ... ;) Correction, more than a bit ... :D

Some interesting current and future plans for your 620ti. Well done.

Always pleased to see postings like these from various parts of the world, often in countries where these fine old cars are better appreciated than they are here in the UK.

Thanks John.
I realy like this car, ive had a Daihatsu Charmant, Bmw 318, Rover 216i and a Lanica Dedra.
The Ti is my favorit one. Its a joy to drive.
There arnt many ti's here, alot of honda based 620's and 618's though. But they are concidered an expensive car to take care of (hard to find parts here).
I paid about 130 gbp for that water pipe. Was a damn rip off. But i love the car.

Thanks for the kind words! Hope to update soon!
Look forward to more updates.

130 GBP for a water pipe! I paid 100 GBP for a complete 620ti in 2005. Mind you, the car had No.3 Con-rod in contact with the block which it had cracked. However, what a fine source of spares which has helped the various 620ti in my family since. Currently we have three 620ti in the family.

Why did that con-rod let go? The previous owner had entrusted the car to a 'specialist' to 'chip' the car for more performance. All EIGHT BIG END bolts and nuts were only finger tight! I fitted a replacement engine and the car flew ... very powerful for a while ... until it broke both No.1 and No.4 pistons ~ the "Chip" was a simple boost cut removal mod and that explained the extra power and another short lived engine.

...i wanted something a little less attention drawing.
.

Precisely.

Using the performance of a 620ti on UK roads with a side exiting "high profile" exhaust would attract the wrong kind of attention ...

One of the many things I REALLY like about the 620ti is that it appears to the eyes of most as just another old slow Rover. It isn't of course but even getting a move on, remains 'low profile' to most observers including the boys in blue.

Hi and :welcome:

Nice to know there are Rover 600s in the land of Honda ... :)

The last time I saw icicles on frozen cars like that here in the UK was back in the winter of 1962/63. Then even central London had Ice and Snow around for months.

Good to see a few 600s in distant lands.

Kinversand is a rare 600 colour even here in the UK. Rare to see even when 600s were still new. One of my favourite colours.

The elegantly classic lines of the 600 to my eyes means they will always be a good looking car.

That Kinversand 620ti looks really nice not so crazygary ... :)

The Vitesse 17" alloys really enhanced the 600's already elegant looks. I detect some subtle mods too... BIG FAT INTERCOOLER ......;)

A rare colour and one of my favourites. I now know of two 620ti owners with cars that colour on this car enthusiasts' site.
