Well it seems as if poor kizzy's HG has let go, Nought on the sniffer test, yet water has slowly been disapearing with it consuming a good header tank between friday and today:guns2: .No cross contamination, yet suspicious amount of slight slime in the header.

So she parked up until I have the time (about a fortnight).

My question is what gasket to purchase she is an '93 L 1.4 16v mpi.Does the uprated gasket with the rail apply- my local LR has no idea "We only do the 1.8 matey" and my local motor factors is about as much help.

I know DR Dave kindly created a thread upon this subject but for clarity I should like to know for defo.

Right my local factors now say I need new head bolts with the payen gasket WHAT!!! and also the water loss I've now traced to a weep from the shot rad.But am still presing ahead with the gasket.
