Never used them myself. Some say these are better at removing any smells that are about ie as you drive through a long tunnel etc.

Have you seen the jobs Poppy's already done? After the pictures of her dismantled dash I doubt she's afraid of tackling anything. She'd put Tim Allen (Home Improvement) to shame...I'd just go for the genuine one. Have you ever fitted one before? They're a bit fiddly.

...Thing is, after the trauma of the dismantling, the remantling (I don't know if that is a word, but hey, it's Sunday) went well and she's now looking better than ever, I'd call that a result, and more than a lot of 'men' would attempt...Wow, what a man,:trophy: do i like you Howie..Purrrrrr..lol. Hiya. Thanks for the link. I am used to fiddly bits, just done my drivers and front passenger door locks, now THAT is fiddly..lol. I had to fit two new ones because they would only lock and not unlock... Nice to be back to normal, and have have my speed locking working again, .. Poppy.Hi there.
I got hold of an official Rover pollen filter from an ex-MGR dealer off eBay.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270578916349&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
It cost me 17 smackers (all in)
A bit fiddly, but very possible to fit without removing the ECU. You have to do a bit of sort of blind manipulating. Helps to have a small-handed person to help.
The old pollen filter was pretty much black - it was seriously gross! So it's a job well worth doing!
Good luck!
