Hi people,

my tf has a slight missfire when starting up and am rather tempted to purchase a new set of leads and plugs,
think this is a good deal?

Hi Andy, try ringing around your local motor factors, I reckon you should be able to get e tenner off that price.

Steve
Its unlikely tho Steve that a motor factors will stock Magnecor leads or Denso Plugs, but it'd worth a shot to save postage. Its not a bad price tho.
Actually, that's a good price. I just replaced my leads for a '96 MGF-VVC, £87 to you sir, and £31 for the NGK's at a well known MG supplier.

I didn't realise I was meant to be paying for his next new car!
Thanks for the input guys, I work for a motor factors that does not supply magnecor or denso only standard plugs and leads, I want to upgrade so am looking elsewhere...
anyone got denso or magnecor parts? do u recomend them?
Try Magnecor direct, they have a pretty informative website:

Nippon-Denso are of a similar quality to NGK, I certainly wouldn't have any issues using them. I've used them on my motorcycles for years.
I have Magnecor leads on my F, wouldn't say you notice any difference day to day but the theory is they should last longer than the standards which the VVC tends to like to go through pretty quickly
