Ok...

A mate of mine has a 1994 (Imported) Honda Prelude 2.0i S AUTO, kicking out 135 horses. Weights 1400+ kg etc.

I have been hunting down stats for this car like a mary and cannot find any definitive figures.

I have been asking him for a race, for fun, but he is convinced it aint worth it cos he don't want to upset me (Grrrr).

So, on paper - which would win from 0-60 and 1/4 mile.... etc.

His Prelude, or my MGZS120+

Thanks )

Obviously testing out the performance of both vehicles on a private track, I would expect it to be quite close but to pick a winner I guess the ZS would win 0-60 but 1/4 mile might be different. Once upon a time the Prelude might be pumping out 135bhp but 12 years down the line.....

It doesn't look like they are as heavy as you said they are, looks like the same weight as the ZS.

My mums got a W-reg Prelude, 2.0L Sport, auto. No idea on figures for it, but it seems very sluggish for a 2.0L, I think my 120ZR would have a good go lets put it that way. Nice car to drive though and it makes a really nice noise past 4,000rpm!
