i've a "94"216gsi its a two tone green and grey but i'm trying to find what the actual names of the colours are the paint code is ryp,i've tried my local rover dealer and they claim they have no codes going back to that year!

Its stampted on to the vehicle id plate. MGR dealers do know what the colour is they probably just couldn't be arsed

The dealer is right I have never heard of RYP as a paint code.

The grey will be Tempest Grey, what shade of green is it?

RYP is a duotone colour code, it means you have British Racing Green on the top half of the vehicle and Tempest Grey on the lower panels.

Loads of mk2s were painted in two tone, worked at longbridge for a long time and saw thousands mate.

Strange because it is White Diamond which was a standard colour.

Yes I agree with transam, NND is WHITE DIAMOND and should be listed, by the way transam do you own a second or third gen ? Am also a pround owner of a 92 3rd gen mate.
