Today i decided to add the vader induction kit. I took out the top air box by unclipping the clips and taking it out through the main engine bay inspection cover. I have had previous people tell me the only way to get the resonator out is to cut it out, i decided to get the my pipe to go passed the resonator box and into the side scoop, where i took the side scoop off and pulled it through. I put the main induction kit on the 90 degree bend and connected it to the tb. 2 and a half hours later, plus blood sweat and a few choice words one vader indution kit on. I am extremly happy as i have never done any of the modification to my car, i have got the garage to do it for me.
Tomorrow my sports cat is going on, i have noticed that the cat nuts are corroded, so wish me luck

I had my car MOT done and it was all fine. I told them to sort a couple of things that were anoying me, they seemed to have fixed my ideling throttle and it also goes back down to 800rpm instead of 1300 rpm, however after fitting my vader the revs have gone back up to 1300rpm, is it because is getting more air now or have i done something. BTW it does not idle now>
Thank you

I do but it was all ok before i put the vader on. I had the work done today and then i decided to fit the vader myself. I have not really driven the car much at all so i am going to see what its like in the morning.

This may sound a little silly, BUT does it matter which way the main carbon induction part is. When i recieved it nothing was attached, so i put the 90degree bend on one end and the tube to the side scoop on the other. However when i put my foot down on the gas my brother said the air was being blown out the scoop not sucked in> IS this right?

Well i had an open cone filter before and that made a great sound when you planted your foot from 2-3000 rpm, then my milltek took over. With the enclosed, i have lost that noise, but the power increase is quite nice. Not as must as i thought, but is ok
