Hi everyone. Having recently replaced the heater water valve with a new old stock one today, I refilled the system and bled it but there is no coolant getting to the heater. The metal pipes in the centre of the car are not even getting warm, rad has been bled as has the engine. Its a strange one because as with a lot of other F's the heater was always hot when on the cold setting, the new valve is open in the hot position but no air/water comes out of the bleed point under the bonnet.
Any ideas suggestions that may help to remedy this situation would be most welcome. Thanks and regards. D4KGP.

Have a look at this mate it might help.

I've also read somewhere that jacking up one end of the car when filling can help but can't for the life of me remember what end, sure someone will advise.
Well after leaving the under bonnet bleed valve out last night, then looking for more solutions to the problem I had, I noticed that someone recommended pushing a piece of wire into the hole (where the heater bleed valve goes) and wiggle it about a few times which I done. I then went and topped up the coolant, started the engine went to the front of the car and the coolant was p--sing out, put the valve back in then went about doing the bleeding procedure. Now its all working perfectly, the new heater water valve turns to cold from hot and along with the new resistor I now have all four fan positions working. Just have to put the centre consul and associated parts back together now. Thanks for your advice regards. D4KGP.

Well done glad it's fixed, it seems this bleed point is prone to blockage with crud, where it comes from who knows, I can only think of a degrading heater matrix then I dismiss the thought as too painful.
