Excellent advice. Before that though, check over the car to see if there are any 'consumables' like brake discs, pads, rear hubs which are showing signs of wear and may need renewal in the near future. Check also oil and coolant condition and any sign of either being a bit 'iffy' or old, drain and renew as well as any filters, not forgetting air filters. The latter can look OK but, minute dust particles will restrict your engine's breathing...
