That looks like the concept that was apparantly due to be put into production just before MGR's demise. It's still floating about somewhere in limbo I believe?

...I like it... though I thought that was the "midget" concept not the TF replacement.... could be wrong
Hi guys!

I'll do a short translation of parts of the text from this site:
http://www.mgrover.se/Nyheter.htm

Nanjing rents Longbridge for 33 years.
It's now definite that Nanjing has signed a 33 year rental agreement for parts of the old MG Rover factory in Longbridge. In these premises the MG TF production will start as soon as possible.
.......
As to the ugly ufo in the picture it says:
The new MG TF gets an AUDI engine
The new MG TF will not be changed as the proposal from Peter Stevens before the collapse. But count on a new tuffer front and rear. MG TF is the model which Nanjing will put first on the market. An AUDI engine is chosen instead of the old K-engine, which can't match the new exhaust regulations, Euro IV.

End of translation. Let's hope Nanjing can make the TF fly again....
