Well it wasn't a secret they were doing one,

I can tell you it has a completely different suspension set up (Bilstein), New wheels (front wheels are 6.5J and the rears 7J), Anti roll bars have been modified to give a better ride than the LE, it has also been lowered as well.

It doesn't really look lowered or is this just me?

My TF isn't lowered either but it's not really higher than the one in the picture.

Maybe I'm just fat or the guy driving it in the pic is lighter than air LOL

I really like it. Looks like a metallic version of Dark Fantasy, and those wheels are pleasingly different.

Not keen on the side graphics though, nor the viper stripe. Hopefully they are optional.

What's the interior like?

nothing groundbreakingly different with the styling, like the paintjob and stripe.

I wonder why the steering wheel isn't on straight. The wheels are in the straight ahead position, but the wheel isn't. You would have thought that MG would have got this right for the show

This is as classy as the organge LE is brash.

Reckon they've got this about right, it might be last night's dinner warmed up - but it has an air of classic exclusivity that the MX5 (A better car) just can not hope to match.

The old saying about aircraft design comes to mind...if it looks right, then it is right. Yes the styling may be old - but I defy anyone to say it sin't a beautiful looking car.

I am not one for decals and stripes, however it works for me here.

Nice fresh alloy wheel design marks it out from previous cars. Has the front spoiler been altered?

If I got one of these it would be for keeps. The only change I would make would be roll hoops - just for safety reasons.

With the economy, job security etc all big issues these days I'd be daft to buy one.

So when can I see one in the metal at my local dealers?

I really want this car.
