Cor! Gimme a chance.....I haven't even seen them yet!

In my (Volkswagen) past, I has a MKII Golf in which I fitted MKIII Column Stalks, which were completely different looking but fitted no problem.

I expect the 'new' stalks would indeed fit earlier models, although a change of switch housing/mounting may be required...

Dave,

Do you think it will be possible to fit the rather nice 'NEW STYLE' steering wheel and column stalks (DUE IN JUNE 2002) into existing 200/25/ZR and 400/45/ZS models ?
Where are some pics of these bits?

PS how come you get to see all the latest stuff, do you work at MGR?

Re: Re: NEW STEERING WHEEL & COLUMN STALKS

I have a friend who works in the Marketing dept. for MGR in Longbridge. Originally he worked in 'International House' near the NEC in B/ham.

All staff from 'Int Hse' were recently moved to Longbridge.

I also travel extensively around B/ham and often pass Longbridge. MGR have a new show area where new cars can be seen before they reach dealers.

The new steering wheel can be seen in this months 'Car' magazine. There have also been posts on this site and features in mags late last year about reviaions to the MGR range.
