Need your help

Tomorrow I’ll be placing an order for home baked apple pies with my local home bakery. Ideally, I’d like humble pie… but this is as close as I can get.

The pies will be placed inside a jiffy bag and sent complete with covering letter to those journalists who appear intent on misreporting events at Longbridge. And that’s where I need your help.

Can you please nominate suitable candidates for a nice helping of humble pipe – preferably with addresses attached?

Thanks

John

I like your thinking, although no one else seems to have picked up on it! My first choice would be the Independent. Although the Gruniad has come in for a fair bit of stick here I would still put the Times and FT ahead of them, and although it pains me to say it, probably the BBC as well. Some of their reporting today seems to be well off the mark, compared to C4 News for example.
All I can say is based on ALL the reports you are a brave men - I can't believe what is being said in every news outlet across the world on this is completely wrong.

James Mackintosh C/O the FT!! Just google his name and Financial Times after it. It will probably bring up his homepage. I'm sure you can find a Contact address. BTW if you can't get the Humble pie to them tell them where they can pick it up! Hey John that gives me an Idea. At the end of each and every year we at MG-rover.Org should have our Humple pie awards for the Press and posters, sources, politicians who got it totally wrong. etc. We can send them a two dimensional humble pie via email. I'm sure one of our clever Members could whip up a nice graphic.

Spot on. Most news comes from agencies originally (Reuters etc) or will snowball from a particular newspaper or broadcaster.
Will you be eating the pie yourself if you turn out to be wrong?
How about some Eggs Benedict Arnold for the traitors running and writing for the British Press?
