Just a few of my favourites in 2010 I have only had the car for half a year now and loving it.

Allen bolts in the gear surround and S/Steel start switch.

Scoops

And favourate The new hood.

Next is to sort out the damage to my rear wing and bumper just spray work noew and thw wheels are getting a fresh paint job DIY so fingers crossed.

I have a few ideas running around in my head that I'm not going to share just yet Current mods are listed in my sig and others planned are:

Direct Port nitrous upgrade
Inlet and exhaust systems deburred/port matched/wrapped or coated
Finish wheel refurb
Finish sound deadening
Finish A Pillar builds

Probably a load more than I can't remember right now, all listed and costed somewhere :lol:

 

I have just had my TF for 3 weeks, its been off the road for about 6 weeks so it has not seen any snow or grit.

so far :
Wire brushed underside and applyed a heavy coat of waxoyl to protect from the winter elements.

Resprayed heater dials in Zircon silver.
.
Fitted chrome rings for clock and oil gage.

A good wash and wax with interior clean.

 

Last year :

New hood with glass rear screen.
Leather seats.
Enclosed induction kit.
52mm throttle body.
TT exhaust (got it in 2009 but only fiited last March).
AP's.

This year :

Quad rear lights.
New carpets.
Braided brake hoses.
Silicone cooling hoses, if I can find someone to make them.

 

I have always resisted the bright MG badge and demister surrounds because I thought they might reflect in the windscreen. That kinda confirms it for me.

 

Yep, It does look nice, but would drive me batty.

For 2011, we'll be focusing on Mungos engine which has been largely neglected this year, as well as braking and further pointless shiny bits... in a fortnight he'll be getting a Complete Service fom this guy.

2010 - stainless coolant pipes, ultra bright headlamp bulbs, LED sidelight bulbs, LED rear quad lights, alloy seatbelt holders and back plates, blue front and rear badges, 2 tone horns, stainless under bonnet bolt set. stainless hood catch bolt set, new Alpine head unit.

Today the alloy seatbelt guide caught the edge of the drivers side seatbelt as i was putting the belt on, result a frayed seat belt, now totally B..ll.xed, so beware if you have these fitted.

Any one got a drivers side seatbelt for a TF ????

Wish I'd bought one years ago now I have it, and now i'm not using the car daily.

 

Spotted your car covered the other day and thought it was a relatively new thing. I have the Mike Satur shiney silver one and it is brilliant - should extend the life of my new hood by years

Oh yeah, I forgot, I am planning on using some vinyl on my F this year too. I just haven't decided what yet.

well last year i did quite a few of the 'normal' mods you know the stuff.... badges,shiney bits etc

but then got bored with that so thought i'd go a bit more extreme

that wasnt really a great success so i thought i'd start again.......

this one was even harder to mod as most of the shiney bits had already been very tastefully done by Dan, but not one to give up easily i tried again ..........

didn't really work out the second time either so i've returned her back to normal ( with a bit of extra shiney added) and hopefully i'll resist the urge to try extreme modding this year

so as far as extreme mods go, you could say i've been there got the T-shirt.........
