Mmmmmm. Grreeeat. ;)

Private reg's are the future.

I'm a big fan of Private Reg's. So far I have:

??08 CJJ
??04 CJJ
??53 CJJ
??02 CJJ

The ?? are the same letters, but don't like publishing full reg's on T'internet.

Hey, you have to collect something don't you.

I hope my children (8 and 14) dont think I'm a dinosaur

I've used moonman for a long time. I've always been very interested in space and used to collect signed photo's of Apollo astronauts (I've met quite a few of them) and have loads of books, models, memorabilia etc.
The Kennedy Space Centre (Center) is mecca to me!
I've always been fascinated by the moon and was glued to the telly during the Apollo missions. So MG's and space are just two of my big loves ;)

oooooo interesting, have never really gave the moon a second thought other than comfort following me home in the dark when i was little. I have seen a UFO though! parents brushed it off when i was begging them to come look at it when i was 12. The same one was on the news and in UFO books ( reported in our area )after so i felt quite smug:bgrin2:

Have you bought a piece of the moon already then or are you waiting for a piece for a pressie? Its ÂŁ20 per acre i think!

and yeah lol to them u are a dinosaur hehehe

I got my piece of the moon for ÂŁ18 about 10 years ago :)
(I do take it tongue in cheek, but some people say it's for real )
I have a nice certificate with a map of the moon, so that when I go, I'll know exactly where I can build my house

UFO's? Hmmmmmm. They can usually be explained away by natural phenomina or something man made, but I do agree that there are a few rather odd cases :err:

I'd love to hear your UFO story.....maybe one day at a run?

very interesting, but............... sounds kind of old.

sorry only joking.

Ive seen these 'buy an acre of the moon' things before. One thing that always puzzles me though...Who the hell has 'claimed' and has rights to sell something they dont own?! i thought the moon belonged to all of us :sad2:

BTW sorry if ive missed a thread/post somewhere Mike, but are you keeping Pingu as well as the TF, or are you waiting untill fairer weather to sell him on?

P.S. back on topic, the plate looks great.

The Moon was claimed by the United States. It falls under their proctection and is why Russia has never been able to send their cosmonauts there, the US will not issue them the Visa's.
If anyone were to land on the moon without US permission then this could be classed as an invasion of US territories. Politics can be great sometimes.
