Having spent far too long trying to undo the brake line from the flexi pipe on the rear offside brake. I'm thinking I will have to remove the offending pipe and remove fitment in the vice. I cant see where the pipeline goes exactly as it's so cluttered, I'm assuming it heads off towards the engine bay where it joins the branch and onto the front of the car and breaking system. Is there a joining position in the engine bay or am I just hoping that I can split it there? Any clarification would be welcome after half a day wasted on this I'm not in the best frame of mind. Maybe I will set out before the daylight goes and remove the engine cover but hopefully, someone can give the encouragement I need and point me in the right direction.
Just thought it is a 2003 mgtf without ABS

Thanks for that info. I'm not sure I'm buzzing with the thought of getting at the location. What's a real pig is I had the engine out last mointh such is the way when you decide on spur of the moment things.
