Hi
Last week I needed to do a small rust repair on my TF which is Trophy Blue and so has a lacquer coat. Now that it's all dry I need to try and blend it in. I realise that this may be near impossible with rattle cans but wondered if there was any advice as to what to do.

Thanks
Jon

I've got a similar problem but with my bonnet. The lacquer has lifted in places and needs redoing. I found a 5 minute video on you tube that might be useful

Very difficult to do properly, usually requires new paint iif you want a pucker job, you can slow it down with some cutting compound and flatten edges. I would start saving for the pro paint optiion.

That's a great little video, thanks. I have a couple spots on the boot spoiler where the lacquer is peeling and I'm going to give it a try, nothing to loss.
