Please can anyone advise on a windstop for a MK2 MGF. Newton Commercial are doing one for £165 which does not require drilling and sounds ideal bearing in mind we might change car soon. However, is this as good as the MGR official one which is £210 including fitting and requires drilling?

I have no experience of the Newton Commercial windstop.....anybody else care to comment?

If you're interested, I may have a second hand MGR windstop somewhere.....

Very similar to the OE Rover windstop - a bent steel tube with some black gauze.

MG World did an article some time ago (No.18, Aug/Sept 2000). Drop me an eMail [email protected] and I'll scan the article and send it you (I'd post it here but I guess Phil Raby wouldn't be too impressed :)) ).

Cheers.

Don't worry about the article. The results are to be found on Rob Bell's site ...
