ok fitted a replacment backbox today withch took hours down to all the nuts being rusted to hell, but on completion the exhaust is blowing from the sprigy thing on the down pipe, i have look at it breifly but it seems lose and i cannot work out how it surpose to secure the exhaust and how to stop it blowing,

i have done a search on the internet but to no avail....plz help

ok found out its called a flexijoint? has it lost its springyness???? or am i barking up the wrong tree?

Common problem Ian - these flexijoints cause all sorts of problems.

I think Mike Satur does uprated replacements - best of luck mate! It does sound as though you've done the hard work, though.

Yep, mine was loose too, Got a replacement from Mike Satur its Stainless Steel, other places make them as well try B&G, or the Mgf centre,

so i have to live with it until i get a replacment, no way of making it less sound like a tank? as its my only mode of transport....any idea on price?
