Youll need the fuel pump - but its easy - took me and Stobby about an hour to do ours and same again for his

We got some pipe clamps to make it easier - change all the clips for proper jubilee clips and youll be right

id do it for you but your a bit far away

Dont forget youll need an exhaust for it - Petes came with one ours didnt but Rimmers have them for around £15

I will be taking parts from a s/hand so will get all I need at once. are all electrics already in car for it?? so I need heater and fuel/pump. then how do they work is it remote, as I noticed a fbh remote control for sale on ebay??
if you have 6 wires to the plug under the bonnet (these plugs are in a plastic bag under the fuse box, 2 pin power 6 pin control ) then you can fit remote or timer , most cars only have 3 wires to the 6 pin plug then you arnt wired for remote/timer

we dont have remote

without one the FBH comes on as you start the car when the temps below 5C to help warm the engine up quicker , and warm the car quicker

thanks carl. ah I liked the idea of the car being warm when I get in, dont think I'd go to trubble to fit if have to start car for it to work?? anyway I'll go check if I have these wires, Tam
drat, I have 2 wire's and 3 wire's. does this leave me without option to have remote controlled heater? or can I fit wiring from another car without to much hastle? ie is this a plug in loom, is there a control box ect at other end of wire's ??
i dont know the answer to that but if you find out tell me

We fitted it as kirst has raynauds so feels the cold and the fast warm up is brilliant
yep, if I find out I will let you know. hopefully someone reading this will know the answers, Tam
Carl. I found a cdt breaker today, sorry it does not have c/control. however it does have a fbh which I'm going back to remove tomorrow as yard was closing so didnt get time to remove anything,
can you tell me did your MG have fuel supply, pump ect for this, I need to know tonight if poss exactly what I will need to get, my car has the wiring as you know. I also have the water pipes.I know I need
{1} the fbh.
{2} the exaust for it. am I missing anything??
You will need to change the pipe that comes off the FBH that goes to tthe engine blaock as the one fitted to your car currently is the FBH bypass hose Tam.

At least the EPC sghows 2 different pipes for no FBH and cars with FBH.

taa simon, I dont want to miss any parts, as I'm getting first pick at car before the vultures are let loose on it.:hyper:
right got it today, simon a few pics to show the hose you spoke about, first the one on the car with heater fitted.

next the hose on my car{no fbh} if you look at pic 2 you can see rover have kindly marked the non heater hose where to cut, therfore no need to buy a new hose.
