im looking to get a settlement price for the outstanding finance on my 2003 mg zs.

should the settlement fee be less than what you owe for paying upfront?

basically what im saying is would i get a discount for paying it off now?

roughly i have about £3000 to pay off over 2 years

you might do, i know people that have in the past done this....although when i rang for mine it was exactly the same, minus the interest that didnt apply

Yeah, if you pay it off early, you will save on the interest that would have applied if you carried on the agreement

but as with these insurance companies, because the finance company loses out on its fees and interest it would have charged, they might artificially load your "price to quit"!

No practical experience of this though...
