Hi all

Looking to change the shifter knob
Currently its old and sticky
Don't want that i have a leather momo one from the 25

I did google how to remove it, and saw turn clockwise or pull it
But neither are working
As far as i know it's oem shifter

turn it anti-clockwise, righty tighty lefty loosey just like a standard bolt. It'll be on very tight, so you'll have to force it a bit. Mine came right off
It was the pull one
Right after making this post i saw another guy say
Put it into 4th sit in the back seat and pull for Luke you've never pulled before
Came right off
Was a MG shifter so no treads
Trying to figure out how to get the momo one to stay without using glue

Yeah i read somewhere that the later models come without thread
So i just yanked it off
Wrapped the shifter in this friction tape dad has
Put the new knob on it and gave it a good wack
I have yanked alot on it i doubt its going anywhere soon
