Right, my head unit died t'other day when I blew the 30amp fuse located in the engine bay fuse compartment which controls the heater/cigarette lighter... I have now however replaced this fuse but still nothing from the head unit! Cig lighter and heaters now work fine.

I've try reconnecting everything, and have tested the fuse on the back of the head unit (it's fine), so what's next? Which fuse under the steering wheel is for the head unit? I have tried the ones marked "Radio" etc. but they are fine.

Any suggestions?

Silly question, but have you checked that there is a live current actaully going to your head unit...
Could it be your Head unit is dead ?
