Armrest Fitting Instructions (anyone spots I've missed owt feel free to tell me)...
Job 1 - REMOVE OLD COVER
1 - With Handbrake on, put car into 1st gear.
2 - At the front of the original handbrake cover, there's a screw cover. remove this by prising at the front (centre) with a flat screwdriver. It should pop out revealing 2 bolts (7mm).
3 - Remove these bolts, slide the handbrake cover back (about 1") and lift up / over the handbrake.
Job 2 - SWAP BRACKETS
1 - Lower the handbrake (with the car in gear / on the flat / safe)
2 - Undo both bolts holding the bracket in place (10mm)
3 - Slide Forwards / Out the way of Handbrake Cables.
4 - Swap bracket for Armrest Bracket, fitting reverse of removal
5 - Pull up Handbrake, check operation
Job 3 - Fitting Armrest
1 - Firstly remove from screw cover, and inner CD tray from Armrest
2 - Slide Armrest over Handbrake, and roughly into position.
3 - Looking inside, you'll see it needs to be pushed back (quite hard) and moved over / under the bracket that holds it in place.
4 - Once over it can be slid foward up to the centre console
5 - 4 Bolts are supplied, and these are 8mm. 2 hold the Armrest to the bracket, and 2 at the front attach where the 7mm bolts are removed. They're of slightly different length so use Armrest Bolts.
6 - Once tightened, insert front Screw Cover, Inner CD Tray, and bobs you're uncle.
* The will make seat back adjustment slightly tricky, and the seat adjustment may "rub" on the Armrest. This should do no harm.
