Apparently they are rare?

Personally I don't think there are anything like enough tools in there to actually get you out of a tight spot!

seems a few tools missing...??

I generally find myself using an angle grinder, center punch, cobalt drills. irwin bolt grips, plusgas and lots of bad language far more than anything in that case

There are a lot more tools in there compared to what you get as standard equipment in an MGF - a jack and a wheel wrench! They will be designed to fit any nut or screw that you are likely to want to get access to in an emergency. Bargain.
Not a bad price at the moment I've seen OEM toolboxes for the F/TF go for £60+
I've got a round one which fits in the spare wheel from my 1983 Ford Sierra Ghia.

No tools in it though!

Best toolbox you can get is a sledge hammer...

Actually it'd be roadside assistance. Not that you'll start taking your car to bits if it breaks down in the middle of the road...

The last time I broke down (bent wheel rim, deflated tyre) the AA Assistance guys specifically exclude driving on the road that I was on to come and help. I could have done with a lot better tool selection than the poor quality wheel brace and the few assorted tools that I had (which look a lot like the MG tool set in question). And when I did get to a town the tyre repair guy did use a sledge hammer to pound it back into some sort of shape!

Edited: to remove a word that the system put some ***'s into.
My F toolkit comprises of

150litre compressor
windy gun
mig welder
trolley jack
American Pro tool kit (full of tools)

I don't think I would get this in the boot hahaha
