I see all pictures in place, with Firefox or Chrome browsers, on Android OS.
Which browser and Operating System are you using?

Hi there. So, I tried and was able to view the images when using both Chrome and Firefox, however, they didn't show when I was not logged in. Are you sure that you were logged in when you were not able to see the images @vDv and @mowog73?

Cheers,

Erik

Oooh. Just found this, nice work.

The 2003 onwards TF has the mini blade fusebox under the steering wheel, which looks like this.

Great info but i'm stuck. Got all the info on the underbonnet and main passenger comp fuses except a list of what this mini satalite box in the pass comp does, pic posted by CJJ 2-11-2012 shows the box next to the main fuses and i cannot find anywhere what they do. As there are 9 fuses mini and standard blade types i would like to know as they range from a 2 right up to a 30. . I've looked in the manual incl the electrial library section of the PDF's but cannot find the info. Help Help Help

That box you are mentioning is nothing else but holder of spare fuses and holder of tool for removing fuses. That is all.

Not sure on the Chinese built TFs, if they have the same fusebox and alarm fitted.
Thanks for the reply. The fuse box layouts look exactly the same as your post-2003 diagrams, including the labels. Anyway, F3 is now pulled. Only time will tell if this is correct, because the alarm is not constant. Are there any possible adverse side-effects of which I should be aware? I know the alarm will sound when I re-insert the use, because I have already tried that.

And a key question is whether the car will run with this fuse removed, or have I immobilized the engine? That I did not try, and I am not at the car now. Any advice gratefully received.

If the system is the same as in case of 2003 MGTF with Pektron system, if alarm is disabled, this will disable possibility for the engine ECU to read alarm ecu and match expected code. Thus engine will not proceed with working.

Pektron alarm does not like power dissruption. It is known if owner let the car battery to die slowely that Pektron alarm looses codes and car is useless without taking out Pektron unit end sending to Technozen to see if it can be saved.
So if you repeatedly take the fuse out several times, I do not know what might happen.

OK, so if I have problems with my alarm sounding on my 2009 TF, and annoying the neighbours, which fuse should I pull? The F3 in the under-bonnet set????

This came up on a sticky but I can offer a solution.

Somewhere on the Forums Ive discussed this and those with a strong opinion shot me down, but 4 years on, Ive still got the car and the mod still works.
Basically, I too had the alarm sounding which I think was probably a door switch arching (but thats another problem that Ive overcome). I tried all the suggestions and none had any effect-so I wired the horns, via a relay which is only live once the ignition is on. that means the Horns work when the cars running and i don't have to pull a fuse. it also means the alarm wont go off if someone gets into my car to steal it, but Im less concerned about that than I am with the neighbours and their less than admiring glances while the problem was still randomly occuring- the horn sounding every other night.
Most of them (neighbours) around here have no tollerance of old cars and even less tollerance of that other evil- Motorcycles..loads of them...

Thanks, but the later cars have an alarm siren that is separate from the horns, and is also hard to access. I will move on to checking door/bonnet etc switches next.
