Just spotted an MG 3 on the road in Tamworth. Was heading up the A5 so im guessing it was heading to the Mira test centre.

Looked to be uk spec aswell as it had alot bigger wheels than previous pics. Looked more like the zero concept wheels. Surprised it wasn't camouflaged to be honest.

interesting to see there fitting different wheels to the MG6 to the MG3 /5 - id have thought they would have used a common PCD - so there sticking with old Honda/Rover PCD form the 200/400 - can we have some twist of pepper style wheels please
Cheaper four stud hubs for the cheaper cars. Figures.
AFAIK heavier vehicles have to have more wheel studs due to weight, hence why trucks have a shed load of studs, as also said if the car is light enough maybe it works out cheaper to use less studs in the manufacture of some parts, not to mention part sharing, platform sharing etc this can also affect how many studs are required I would guess.

Spotted a red MG3 twice today, VX61*** didn't catch the full reg.

Was standard on black steel wheels. Spotted at 8am in Tamworth then spotted again at around 11:30 in Perry Bar.

God know's where it had been, it was filthy
Mira I would imagine, as it's the well known proving ground for vehicles and just down the A5 from Tamworth.

Was heading the wrong way for Mira, it was the opposite side of Tamworth. I've seen them heading to Mira before with the TF's, the 6 and the white 3 and all of them have come straight down the M42.

The one today was on the Lichfield side, then again in Perry Barr which is near enough Birmingham city centre only a couple of hours later. More than likely just road testing.
Spotted a red one on the a441 just by the bordesley Citroen garage in bromsgrove/redditch
