MG 1 registration number

Does anyone know who finally bought the number MG 1?
It was sold a couple of years ago on an MGB GT to a cherished numbers dealership, who went on to advertise it at about £250k.
I assume that they sold it, as it is no longer being advertised.
How many members here, have their own cherished number?
Believe it or not, someone has just paid a staggering £500k for a plate.
Check this thread to get an insight into the sort of money changing hands.

I got C3 NCH on retention. Looked great on my old ZT. Just my initials. Only cost £399 about 5 or 6 years ago.
Been on several cars but I kept my current ZT as 07 reg because it was the last 190 to be registered. People are amazed to see a ZT on an '07'

Been tempted to get MG07 0ZT. But thats a bit expensive for me at £799.

Nick.

There is a Toyota Avensis driving about with the plate AMG 2T.
Whenever I see it, I read it as A MGZT.
I bet the owner doesn't even know that.

Nice! I've got L555 M*T (I won't expose my full plate for security reasons ;)). Got the 3D Chromed plates which I just managed to get through my MOT. I know I won't be keeping my MG so didn't bother getting anything with "MG" in it.

I think more people should get them if they care about their car.
Ihave mg 02 del , it cost me £499 all in about 5 years ago.

Nothing against ya dell, but how much bigger gap do you want to put between MG and 02? ;)
I have had MG02 ZMG since new on a 2002 MG ZT-T... what's it likely to be worth now?
cant find the plate on dvla website. dont the dvla own all the plates?

That would be around £799 from DVLA.. But that includes the transfer fee..
Private I would think around £550 ish

I missed out on MG07 ZZT. But MG07 0ZT is tempting me.

There is a top spec Range Rover V8 regularly seen on the roads in south Northants with the registration RR V8... I bet the plate is worth a hell of a lot more than the car! :wtf:

I had 4449 PP on my 1964 MGB 10 years ago and wonder where it is now as that number shows up as a Metro. Or it did a short while ago anyway.
