I have a 2002 model 75 tourer. The car has covered 32000 miles. Over the past 2 months I can hear a metallic rattle emanating from the front suspension, audible at 30mph on poor road surfaces. Any suggestions? Thanks, Tony

Are your brakes worn? Brakes shoes lose in caliper knocking against discs due to ceased caliper/carrier?

Thanks, but it doesn't rattle on braking. It sounds more like an anti roll bar.

Well it won't rattle under braking as it's under pressure from the piston.
I only mention it because I had a very similar problem and for the life of me couldn't suss it. Checked all bushes, links, changed track rod ends, checked everything I could think off.
Everything came to light when I changed discs and pads, seized carrier pin.

See another member posted a similar problem which turned out to be a broken bit of front suspension spring rattling around.
