Sent to the "Ask Tony" bit on the Labour Party website:

" In 1968, your predecessor, Mr Wilson - in concert with none other than Mr Tony Benn - made the single most disastrous industrial decision in our country's history.

They engineered the takeover by Leyland of British Motor Holdings.

It created an unmanageable colussus, and ultimately led to today's collapse of MG Rover and the loss of tens of thousands of jobs.

As you are the Labour Prime Minister who made the single most disastrous post war foreign policy decision, I would like to know if, in future, you intend to support British-owned manufacturers - and make good the havoc wreaked by your predecessors - or if you still consider wasting billions of pounds prosecuting pointless wars in faraway places your number one priority?"
