Bah!

I have no way of running the Uniscan v1.83 software in either full or demo mode as it only works under Win95/98 or 98SE.
It runs under WinXP on my PC. Obviously not under full compatibilty, but enough to browse the software.
I'm still looking at this, but my laptop doesn't have any com ports, but it is connectable via PCIMCIA to serial adapters.
I'd simply load DOS on to a CDR to run it in pure DOS from the Laptop. Has a hell of a lot vehicles in the list too looking at the sofware and all Rovers are listed.

Yep, have it running, first it was in Russian but have it in English now.

I don't see MEMS2J listed, 1.6 and 1.9 is supported. I wonder if it displays Live Data?

The requirement for 2 com ports is strange. I also found the circuit diagram and component list, there are dump files for programming the eprom and Atmel processor used.

It does display live data, it tells you in the vehicle list.
Where are the dump files?

Hi Ashy,

Was the bit of kit you bought successful in communicating with your 1.9 mems?,I have a working London cab ,TX1 that has been fitted with a Rover K series 1800 DOHC engine ,the ECU is from an MGF ,the part number is MKC 104112,Would you recommend this kit,if not is there a reasonably priced reader out there.

Many Thanks,
Simon Connolly
