My Vi replacement! 2005 Fiesta ST- Luvily jubily!
Years ago my Mrs and I went on a track day with autocar in one and I've wanted one ever since.

My Vi handles like a boat compared!

Do you like them?

Lukewarm ho ho.......:)

ST runs 150hp 2.0L Duratec any has brakes and handling so good that they'll put most MGs to shame.

If you dont think so have a test drive then you can comment.

If Ford do make a new ST in the 2008 range we are hoping for at least 180hp so it can show the Corsa and Clio how things should be done.

yeah 150 bhp but I didn't buy it for the straight line speed because I've never really had the opportunity to floor it in my Rover as I look like a tanked up Chavster. But keep it in 3rd gear on a B-road an now your talking!! I even save ÂŁ11 a year insurance :trophy:

My friend just bought one of these. I have to say it's a stunning car, but I'm not personally convinced its got it's heart in the right place.

In a modern day hot hatch, I'd expect better than 8 seconds 0-60.

What prepping has the suspension gone under to handle so well, it does seem to sit quite well, but I'm not convinced it's as great on the twisties as is being made out, I detect hints of understeer when my friend is driving it hard. Compared to a Vi though, it's an excellent choice!

EDIT. oh! I forgot to say, Group 13E insurance..... is a steal for this car!

A couple of cars ago I had a 1600 Fiesta Zetec S that ONLY had 103hp. A couple of chavs in a Saxo VTS tried to follow me down a couple of windy country lanes by me and nealry ended up in a field.

Fords handle superbly these days and not much for the money can touch them.
