I can now offer lower prices on maf after negotiating with my supplier.

OLD PIERBURGH MAF FOR USE WITH MAFAM / DIGIMAFAM was £68, NOW £60 SAVE £8.00 inc vat + postage

NEW L SERIES PIERBURGH MAF (no mafam needed) was £130, NOW £94 SAVE A MASSIVE £36 + postage.

This also means there are some special offers going:

Digimafam DGM1 or DGM2 + Pierburgh maf: only £135.95 delivered - £22 off.
Synergy 2a + Pierburgh maf & security bits: only £250 delivered - £22.95 off.

Thanks mate, I wasn't sure because of the bit below on your site... but when adding it to my basket, it says mafam not required. I'll pay for it first thing, it's about time I treated myself :x

Please can you clarify that the below points are just out of date? It's a bit confusing.

"Either way, a Digimafam DGM1 IS ESSENTIAL when a Pierburg Maf is fitted"

Q8: IS THERE A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE MAF?
A: A Pierburgh maf works well but MUST be used with a Mafam. I now stock these for £53.50 delivered or £50 if bought with a mafam. More here

Sorry for the confusion - the site needs an update since the availability of the new £99 Pierburgh maf.

The Digimafam is only needed when the older £61 maf is fitted, NOT when the £99.99 is fitted.

I'll update the site later today now you've pointed out the misleading info.
Cheers,
Ron
Perfect thank you. I'm working at the moment but will make my payment later from home - very much looking forward to trying it out and having the beast running properly for the first time!

thanks again for the quick responses

Matt

*edit* Ordered! Now the wait... man I hate waiting!! I'll post back with results at the weekend hopefully :)

How did you get on with this?? You sound like you are (were) in the same boat as me with regards to getting power gains without making too many mods.

cheers
help

Which of these would I need for a 98 400 and what exactly does it do?
you don't need to do anything for a rover 400, the 400's won't suffer any symptoms from a dying maf sensor.
