Got my MOT Monday.
Front Nearside tyre is wearing on the inside, so bought a Wheel/Tyre. Just taking the worn Wheel/Tyre off. Undone the 3 normal wheel nut's no problem, use the Security Socket for the Locking Wheel Nut and it has destroyed the lug's.
The Security Socket seems to be made of lead!

Any idea's how to remove a Locking Wheel Nut?

It's got a number on the Security Socket - 23. What is this number?

Had the same problem with mine. Someone had overtightened one of the front wheels because the two screws that hold the brake disk had their heads shreaed off and left like it !

Got the garage to drill out and replace the screws, and get a replacement locking nut key (which cost me £15).

A lot of posts on this forum say that the stud thread is 12x1.25. This was not the case with mine, they are 12x1.5, so go carefull when ordering nuts.
