Hm.? Well, i have the same, canbus aren't they... Nooooo problem with mine.. yet.. lol. Love em.! Poppy.
I have the same - no problems with them, could it be it has worked loose or slipped back inside the light housing?
It's rarely the LEDs that actually pack up, usually it's the resistors that they use to protect the LED that burns out, as they use cheap and low current resistors on the board.

The LEDs themselves are pretty much fine, but of course need the resistor to lower the voltage & current flow to the LED.

Regards, Rob.
I've had a bunch of LED sidelights, interior lights and numberplate lights. Ended up having problems with at least one out of each set I bought.
I bought exactly the same LEd's........ got a bulb failure warning.......on a front sidelight! Surely not I thought, but yes, the front flat LED plate has detatched and is now rolling around inside my headlamp unit....... now I've got to take the bloody bumper off AGAIN!!!! GRRRRRR!
I have had the same ones for a few months now and no problems so far could just be part of a dodgy batch maybe.

If you wish to fit LEDs use the type with plenty of light output. A three element unit isn't very bright really. I'd suggest something like these as a minimum. Preferably even more if you can get it into the housing (which is always difficult).

These aren't sold in CANbus friendly variety, but fixing that is a doddle. Seems maybe the CANbus type are not that reliable eh?
