evenin all.

thinking about Ledding the rear lights on the ZS.
one option is a custom "hack" by buying a new set of rear clusters, and taking the reflectors and bulbholders out, so I can fit LED arrays up to the lenses. Of course this means the risk of buying a new set of clusters and hoping I can pull it off without it looking like Ive made it in the garage!

the other option is to buy a set of the led replacement lamps from the likes of ultraleds.

Has anyone tried these and do they give a good light output or are they pants ?

Guess my minds been made up, Ive just won a new set of rear lights on fleabay.

my plan is to make a polished ally or perspex insert the same size as the inside of each lens, and set the leds in this. At least with another set of lights I can take as long as I want, and I can try different options to see what looks best.

they wont be much if any different from standard when unlit but will be an LED array rather than a single bulb when lit.

Sounds like a good idea putting LED's in yr lights. After all if B*W's can have them, why not better cars (MG's).
